Terms of Service
Last updated: 10 August 2026
These terms govern use of Sweeply, a giveaway and contest app for OpoShop merchants, operated by Found. By installing or using Sweeply you agree to them.
What Sweeply does
Sweeply lets a merchant run enter-to-win giveaways on their OpoShop store: an entry widget and a shareable giveaway page, an entries ledger with referral tracking, branded confirmation and winner emails, and a winner draw with a published, verifiable method. Sweeply does not process payments and does not create discounts.
Your responsibilities as the promoter
- The giveaway is yours, not ours. You are the promoter and the sponsor of every giveaway you run. Sweeply is the tool; it is not a co-sponsor and holds no prize.
- You are responsible for legal compliance. Promotions, sweepstakes and contests are regulated differently in different places — including rules on eligibility, age, no-purchase-necessary requirements, official rules, disclosure, registration or bonding thresholds, tax reporting, and platform policies where you promote. You must make sure your giveaway complies everywhere you run it. Found does not provide legal advice and does not review your rules.
- You must award the prize you advertised to the winner the draw produced, and honour your own published rules.
- Consent and email use. You may only email entrants in ways consistent with the consent text you displayed and with applicable law (for example GDPR, CAN-SPAM, CASL). Sweeply records the consent wording shown; using the list beyond it is your responsibility.
The draw
Sweeply selects winners at random, weighted by entries earned, using a seed that is generated and committed (as a SHA-256 hash) when the giveaway is created — before any entry exists — and revealed after the draw. The method is published so the result can be independently reproduced. A giveaway can be drawn once; a replacement draw for a forfeiting winner creates a new, linked record and never alters the original. Found does not alter draw records and cannot select or change a winner.
What this proves is that the seed pre-dated the entries and that the published winner follows from the published inputs. It is not a claim that any third party audited our randomness source.
Acceptable use
- No unlawful, deceptive or misleading giveaways, and no giveaway for a prize you cannot lawfully award.
- No attempts to manipulate entry counts, farm referral entries, or interfere with the draw.
- No use of the entrant data you collect for anything the entrant did not consent to.
- No reverse engineering, scraping, or attempts to access another store’s data.
Availability & changes
Sweeply is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We work to keep it running and correct, but we do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may update, change, or discontinue features; material changes will be reflected by the date above.
Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Found is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data, arising from your use of Sweeply. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited. You are responsible for the giveaway itself, including any claim arising from how it was run, advertised, or awarded.
Termination
You may uninstall Sweeply at any time from your OpoShop admin. We may suspend access for a serious or repeated breach of these terms. Records for giveaways already drawn are retained so past draws remain verifiable.
Privacy
Our handling of merchant and entrant data is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
